Anxiety and Depression are two of the most common symptoms people express.

Anxiety is a normal feeling in response to life's stress. It is often behind a lot of other problems you may suffer from.i.e., behavior of doing the "overs"; over-drinking, over-spending, over-eating, over sexual. Anxiety can also be related to depression. However, it can increase and become unmanageable, causing  severe  distress, making it more important to be aware of the signs and symptoms.

Depression is a mood based illness. It can affect all aspects of our life; sleep, appetite, concentration, decision making, and socialization. It is especially common in women. Depression is twice as likely to occur in women then men. This can be attributed to hormonal related reasons, such as hormonal cycle, pregnancy, menopause, aging, childbirth, and nursing.  Women also experience more body image issues. Men can also be faced with depression caused from inadequacy or disappointments from relationship intimacy, career, finances, and family obligations and other life transitions.
